Share the gift of Natural Wines

In May this year, we became a licensed seller of alcoholic beverages in the market, and over the months our team has been curating a wonderful selection of craft beers, sakes, hard kombuchas and organic & natural wines!

Natural Wines are wines made with minimal intervention from the producer, using organic or biodynamic grapes, and without the addition of chemicals or additives such as sulfites. The wines use their native yeasts for fermentation, resulting in a wine that is unique to its terroir and often has a more complex and nuanced flavor profile than conventional wines.

Natural wine is also often associated with sustainable, regenerative and ethical farming practices, which are things we always look out for when sourcing our products!

One of our favorite comes from Santa Barbara County - this 2023 regenerative organic Syrah from Ámevive. The grapes are part of the original planting at their Ibarra-Young Vineyard, planted in 1971. The Syrah was harvested in three picks in order to gain depth, acidity, and layers of different tannin structures in the final wine! Tasting notes, as described by the Ámevive team: "The friend you never want to go home. Caring, funny, inquisitive, genuine, and a little talkative. Ripe red fruits, subtle violets, some girth, some grip, this wine will age and cellar exceptionally well."

Another wine we love comes Asolo, a small Italian village nestled in the rocky hills south of the Dolomites. This family-run winery is known for its small-production, organic farming practices, and dedication to traditional methods, including extended lees aging and the "col fondo" style (unfiltered, naturally cloudy Prosecco). This wine in particular uses organic Glera grapes grown in fertile, iron-rich soil and has tasting notes of golden apple and grapefruit.

Many of our wines are produced in small, limited batches and you won't find them in most stores! We mostly focus on wines that come locally from our beautiful state of California, and we also carry some exceptional wines from Europe and New Zealand.

For our family and friends who don't drink - but who appreciate a good drink! - we have a selection of craft, non-alcoholic drinks including SOVI's Sparkling Orange Wine (traditionally crafted from Pinot Nois Grapes) and De Soi's Non-Alcoholic Aperitif Très Rosé.
